" A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort."
- Heron Albright (1876 - 1944)

So after surviving on 3 hrs of sleep and having to experience my first mock exam in SIM, here I am, updating you all that Im still alive and well. Ok. except for the part where im now down with a fever. So, once again, I've to trouble Khai to help me take down the notes and questions. Thanks alot girl. I really appreciate it. Don't worry, I'll return you the favour by introducing some old mature man to you.. If I ever get the chance to know them. :)

Tomorrow will be V day. Well, I'll keep it as a suprise for her. Hopefully it'll pull off well. Don't worry, nothing fanciful or costly. So to all couples out there, before you guys go out and be lovey dovey. Please, at least know how V day came about.
I took it from a friend's blog.

" Valentine's Day originated from the ancient Roman fertility festival of Lupercalia, which was celebrated on 15th Feb. During this festival, young men would draw the names of women from a box, & each pair of man & woman would remain a couple until the next year's celebration. Often they would fall in love & get married. In the 3rd century AD, Rome began to face a series of battles & civil uprising. When many of the men refused to join the army, Emperor Claudius II thought that it was coz they did not want to leave their loved ones behind and thus ordered for the cancellation of all marriages & engagements. 2 priests, Valentine & Marius, disobeyed the decree & continued to perform marriage ceremonies secretly. Valentine was caught on 14th Feb & dragged to jail, where he was later beaten to death & beheaded. Before his execution, Valentine himself fell in love with the jailer's daughter. In his final note to her, he signed off as "From your Valentine." "

Anyway, I always do feel that V day is overrated. Things are expensive. It's just a day where everyone suddenly becomes lovey dovey and it gets too commercialised. Still, that doesn't mean that it's an excuse for guys not giving the girls a stalk of flower. If you really think it's too expensive, you can opt for the cheapest flower, chrysanthemum. They are always the cheapest this season. Or better still, go to any overhead bridge, and pick up a few Bongivelas. Alright.. Joking only.

Last Sat, I went with the Lady to watch Sally Yeh's concert. Well, I didn't regret having to pay the money. The show was a blast. Good old classics, be it mandarin or English. I even managed to spot a friend working part time as an usurer there. He was none other than shabbiness and khaki "Teddy bear" for sociology class. Anyway, I might be considering to go for the upcoming concert by The Platters. Classics galore! Ok.. It's for senior citizens only. Shit, Im getting old.

Was viewing through some pictures, i thought this picture was lovely.
