"A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort."
- Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

Another week just passed, and here I am, being as blur as I can be, Could'nt even remembered what did I do for the past one week. I guess I was on some "auto-pilot" mode, just like Adamn Sandler in the show, "Click". Damn, talking about "Click", I really envy Adam Sandler in that show. Kate Beckinsale. Hot babe.

Alright, that's not the point for today. The point for today's entry is about how I spent my weekend. So well, it seems like Im having a jam-packed schedule. First, I had to celebrate Winston's farewell dinner at Cineleisure on Sat. Pretty disappointed witht he turnout, but well, it was relatively alright. Next, I had a full day of volunteering at Chen Su Lan's Methodist children's home (CSL). Well, I must admit, it was a really interesting day. After accompanying the kids to Jurong swimming pool, we also accompanied some of the staff there to go down to toy-s-rus to buy them a few toys. Anyway, overall, it was really a fufilling trip.

Recently, I think I've pissed off a friend of mine. But hey, I mean, up till now, I dont think its my fault. I really feel that he is being too petty and whiny over certain issues. So there once, when he was whining to me, I just told him off, cause he was starting to irritate me. But well, I didnt expect him to be so petty and kind of close all contacts with me. Haha, well.. honestly speaking, I really dont feel its my loss and all. Anyway, Im going to end here, as for the photos, i'll upload it some other time.

In prosperity our friends know us; in adversity we know our friends.
- John Churton Collins

I guess it's the month where people who are going overseas to study, esp England are finally making their move to fly over there. I'll be having 3 friends who'll be flying over. First is Jason, who just flew over yesterday. Next it'll be Winston, my NS buddy who'll be flying in 2 weeks time to study in LSE on Home Affairs scholarship. Finally, it'll be Aloysius, another friend whom i know since Pri 1 (For your info, Jason, Aloysius and I have known each other since Pri 1. We were in the same class at some point of our pri to secondary school years.)As from what I've known, Aloysius is going to Cambridge to study on DSTA scholarship. Well, Im not suprised cause all these years, I always feel that he is a really bright boy, although wierd at times. Come to think of it, I was in the same class with Aloysius for a really long time. We were in the same class from Pri 1 to Pri 6 and Sec 2 to Sec 4. Anyway, I really wish them all the best.

On a lighter note, i finally got a new phone. It's a Sony Ericsson W700i. Although I still fancy the W810i, with limited funds, Ive no choice but to take the W700i as it was on a really big discount. Well, Got to save money for my end of year trip to Thailand. Im really looking forward to it. Hopefully, I'll be able to "charm" some cute Thai girls there and they'll be able to give me Thai massage everyday. Of course, they must be 100% pure girls and not some half done "she males".

My new phone!

Damn.. MSN messenger server got problem...........

Nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small it takes time - we haven't time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.
- Georgia O'Keeffe (1887 - 1986)

"And so it is, Life goes easy on me, Most of the times....." Ok.that's a little sing along tune from the movie, "Closer".
Anyway, yesterday, I and a group of close friends were at the airport around 10pm. Well, no. We are not there to shoot a MTV or something like that. We were there to send off a good friend. It suddenly dawn upon me that Ive known this guy since pr1 one. We two were in the same primary class for 4 years and in the same secondary class for 2 years. So in fact, Ive known him for about 15 years already.

(A class photo taken during Sec 3. See if you can spot me. Jason is the 2nd row, 2nd frm the left)

Farewell Jason Lin Junhan. Hope that we still stay in contact even though you are in England. Hopefully one day, we may see you on National Geographic channel showing us of your proud work.

Do not fear death so much, but rather the inadequate life.

Australian 'crocodile hunter' Steve Irwin killed by stingray

That's the headline when i went into Yahoo news this afternoon. Like what the above quotation says, I feel that, Mr Irwin has led a really exciting life. Anyway, let us mourn for today. His work for nature will always be remembered in the people's heart.

ok.. now..talking about stingray.. I just ate one last sunday at "Chomp Chomp". BBQ Stingray. Delicious! yum! yum!.

" Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."
-Helen Keller (1880 - 1968)

Here's the picture of the trip to Kid Central Live at the Indoor Stadium on thurs with the children from Chen Su Lan's Methodist Home. Anyway, the trip was really a fun one and.. it was an accidental one too..

Here's the kids..waiting to enter the Indoor stadium.

If you want to know how interesting the show is? Just look at Huimin and you'll know the response.

Benjamin Chay and huimin!

Here's an always angry looking Sebestian and Me! (omg .. I look like Julian Hee in this picture.. ok..kidding) Anyway, few mins ago, this angry little boy (Sebestian)was not happy with the performance at the start. So this boy shouted out loud from his seat, "Shut up and get lost Mervin. Brother Benjamin can do a better job than you!" Ok. Apparently, this Mervin is some Kids central host and he is the host for the performance. As for Benjamin, He's the guy in the above picture. Anyway, I was beside Sebestian and I was damn "paiseh" as some parents heard it and stared at him. He is 8 yrs old by the way.. Pretty fierce boy.

"Yoyo.. Waddsup Fellow Mate..Come on brather.. Show me some love!!"
This is my favourite student of all... Don. He's super cute and freaking smart for his age. If im right, he's in some special programme in his primary school. Anyway, he is a rapster and he can rap any Black Eye Pea's song for you.. Oh..not forgetting he's a favourite among the girls in the home too.. (just like me! kidding...)

Ok.. For my photos, Pls click on my flickr to view it. Besides, Im also looking for more volunteers to join me in helping these kids.. For more info, you can look up at this link here. Chen Su Lan's Methodist Home.
